Yes it is now August and we are starting to think about our Fall boat show in Annapolis but first we have to get everyone some needed vacation at least a couple of days to refresh for the fall.  Also to spend time with their families which are as important to the store as our employees.  Hard to believe but that is the feeling you get when you walk through the door to work here.  Our little family grew by one the first part of July when our Callie and her husband Jessie welcomed Archie a 9’3″ baby boy to our family and his big sister Lake.  Quite the feeling in the store, some much legitimate caring and love for the family, you know prayers and best wishes etc.  Well Scott is gone and so we are down a VP so I am cutting this short.  Please once again check us out on Facebook and Twitter for more information on us and our store.

Well at the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades ICAST Garmin was presented with the Best of Show Award for their Paqnoptix LiveScope, which may change the way we fish.  This revolutionary system will provide either a down view or forward view depending on how you wish to view it.  To quote one of the Garmin Team Pros Fred Roumbanis “you can actually see movement and the profile; while he was snapping a jig on the bottom, and I saw a walleye and I could see the fins on the walleye! There is no way I could have seen that before”.  Pretty amazing stuff.  Garmin and our store are looking for this to be a big seller and we are recommending to anyone who may be able buy one, to get it on order and get in line.  The system includes the GLS 10 sonar black box and the LVS32 transducer with marine network cable for easy installation.  Also included are two mounting brackets one for the transom and one for the trolling motor.  Glad to have some news to relay to you at this time of year.  If you are looking for anything don’t hesitate to call us.  I will be back to you next week but please check us out on Facebook and Twitter.

Yes indeed our store is really popping right now with customers looking to upgrade their marine systems.  The showroom has been extremely busy with walk in traffic and they are all buying, which is great.  The phones have been really busy too with questions and orders and of course the occasional problem that we take care off for our customers.  I am more than impressed watching our team with the way they speak and help our customers, it makes me proud to be part of this team.  The fourth of July is an extremely busy time here at the beach with out of towners here which really impacts the traffic flow.  It is good to have an automotive GPS just to keep you up to date on traffic accidents in our area.  Well enough for this week but please follow us on Facebook and Twitter and I will be back next week.

Yup those are the words for what is going on here at The GPS Store.  It is very hectic with visitors to our showroom and the phones are really popping.  We have remarkable deals on the echoMap CHIRP 93SV and 94SV either one for $599.95 a great deal.  We are about to enter the very busiest time of the year for our area.  The 4th of July in Myrtle Beach is huge so make sure your gps are up to date and working correctly because there will be drivers that are looking for restaurants and making no so smart driving decisions.  If you are travelling we can still get you a GPS for your trip or vacation in plenty of time.  Well off to the phones so please be safe and I will be back to you next week.

Here in coastal North Carolina we are busy getting ready for something big.  Our 20th Anniversary Super Sale, which will happen in May.  I know it is hard to believe that our little store has been in business for 20 years, but we have and we grow every day and every year.  Most of us here have been with Drew and Gina for well over half of their first 20 years.  We have found a home and a family and treat each other as such every day.  What a presence we have on the internet, I have been here for 14 or 15 years and the growth I have experienced is terrific.  I listen to my family on the phone and know what they are telling to our customers is true and accurate.  We do not lie to make a sale, We earn each and every customer we get.  If anyone is into Mountain Biking Garmin is having and event in Kansas, called the Dirty Kanza should be a fun time for all.  Please follow on Facebook and Twitter I know there will be much more info on our Super Sale.  I will be writing you soon so stay safe.
