It’s been a busy week here at The GPS Store, Inc. New Fusion Signature Series 3i Speakers were released. These new speakers provide an improved marinized water resistant connectors and improved grills. We also had the opportunity to spent time with the Raymarine team learning about their new YachtSense Link Marine Cloud Router (expected in our warehouse in the next week). This time of the year is prime time for wild weather including Hurricanes, Tornados and extreme heat. Take a look at this waterspout sighted about 50 miles off the coast of North Carolina this weekend. The GPS Store’s own Scott Heffernan snapped this photo while fishing a tournament this past Saturday.

Garmin has released their new range of Truck GPS! Available in 6″–10” displays, the Dezl OTR 610/710/810/1010 trucking GPS units provide custom truck routing, strategic suggestions for fueling, breaks and more. Furuno Adds Navionics Support to GP1871F/GP1971F

Did you know that Navionics has collaborated with Furuno to add support for Navionics Plus and Platinum+ charting to the GP1871F and GP1971F Chartplotter/Fishfinders? This feature was made possible with the February Furuno Software Release (version 4.0). Click here to access the software update.

Simply update the software on your Furuno GP1871F or GP1971F display and add a Navionics+ or Platinum+ chart for an all-new charting experience. Gain access to nautical charts with cartographic data sources from official and private sources, as well as crowdsourced information courtesy of the Community Edits Navionics feature. Navionics+ features include dock-to-dock auto guidance technology, SonarChart bathymetric information, fishing ranges, SonarChart Live mapping and more!
